After Thirty Years, Don-Turned-MLA Mukhtar Ansari's Gun License Declared Fake
Prayagraj, July 16 (TNA) BSP legislator Mukhtar Ansari, who is currently lodged in the Banda jail, on Friday had more troubles coming his way. In a 30-year-old case of fake arms license, the Special MP-MLA Court of Prayagraj has now framed charges against Mukhtar Ansari under five sections.
On June 10, 1987, Mukhtar was accused of obtaining a license for a double-barrell gun on the basis of forged documents. After this, a case was registered against Mukhtar Ansari in the Mohammadabad police station of Ghazipur district regarding this matter. After this, Mukhtar is now being tried after thirty years in the MP-MLA court.
The Special Court has framed charges under Section 467 - 468 - 420 - 120B of IPC and Section 13(2) of the Anti-Corruption Act. Now under these same sections, Mukhtar will be prosecuted in the Special MP-MLA court.
