Akhilesh Targets Yogi Adityanath Govt As 20 Villagers In Siddharthnagar Administered Both Covaxin and Covishield Jabs

Lucknow, May 27 (TNA) Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Akhilesh Yadav has targeted the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh accusing it of playing with the lives of people.

Referring to the incident in the Siddharthnagar district of the state where 20 villagers were first administered the Covaxin shot and then inoculated with Covishield the next time, the former chief minister said that this was height of callousness and amounted to playing with innocent lives.

"What else to show how careless and poorly managed the fight against Coronavirus is being fought by the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh?" The 48-year-old leader said. He also demanded that the villagers who have been given these jabs be kept under close watch by a medical team for any possible reaction to the double dose of different vaccine makes.

He also took a jibe at the prime minister Narendra Modi, whose picture is posted on vaccination certificates by asking whose picture will now be posted on these vaccine certificates!
