Alert In Uttar Pradesh Ahead Of Republic Day After Arrest Of Terrorist Duo In Delhi

Lucknow, January 17 (TNA) An alert has been sounded across Uttar Pradesh after the arrest of two terrorists in Delhi. The alert comes ahead of the Republic Day celebrations. Strict instructions have been given by top cops for extra vigilance at all other important and sensitive places including Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi.

Apart from increasing the security of all major religious places before January 26, instructions have also been given to deploy additional PACs in sensitive districts. Terrorists Naushad and Jagjit were arrested in Delhi's Jahangirpuri with hand grenades and three pistols. The duo is said to be associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and Khalistani terrorists and were in direct contact with Canada-based terrorist Arshdeep Dalla.
