All Schools In Prayagraj Closed On Wednesday Owing To Last Rites Of Mahant Narendra Giri

Prayagraj, Sep 21 (TNA) In view of the last rites (Bhu-Samadhi) of late Akhada Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri, all schools upto class XIIth have been closed on Wednesday. According to an order issued by the district inspector of schools RN Vishwakarma, the decision has been taken in view of the large crowds expected in the city for the last rites of the late seer.

The order will apply to all schools, irrespective of the Boards they are affiliated to. It ahs also been said that on Wednesday, educational work may be conducted in the online mode. Mahant Narendra Giri who was found hanging under mysterious circumstance will be laid to rest as per rituals on Wednesday.

A large number of dignitaries, VIPs, politicians and saints are expected to converge in the holy city for the event.
