Allahabad HC To Hear On April 18 Mathura's Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid Dispute Petition

Prayagraj, April 11 (TNA) Hearing of Mathura's Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah Masjid dispute case was held in the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday. The matter pertained to the transfer of pending cases to High Court on behalf of Lord Shri Krishna Virajman and 7 others. Respondent parties (UP Sunni Central Waqf Board, Committee of Management Trust, Shahi Masjid, Mathura, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust, and Shri Krishna Janmasthana Seva Sansthan) filed their reply in the Court through e-Mode

In the last hearing, the court had given the defendants the last chance till April 7 to file their reply. The transfer petition, filed through Advocates Vishnu Shankar Jain, Prabhash Pandey and Pradeep Kumar Sharma, on behalf of Lord Shri Krishna Virajman and 7 others, states that the issues involved in the matter pertain to crores of devotees of Lord Krishna and the matter is of national importance.

Today, senior advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain presented his side on behalf of Lord Krishna Virajman and 7 others. It has been prayed in the petition that all the cases be transferred for trial in a single court. The court also asked AAG Manish Goyal to assist in the matter on the next hearing. The court fixed April 18 as the next date for further hearing in the matter. Single bench of Justice Arvind Kumar Mishra-I is hearing the case
