Allahabad HC Orders Probe Into Arbitrary Listing Of Cases
Prayagraj, April 24 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) has ordered a probe into the arbitrariness in the listing of cases before it. On January 5, 2022, the court had ordered to list a case on January 25. However, the order of the court was disobeyed and the case was not listed. The court said that it has been observed earlier also that despite orders, cases are not being listed.
The HC has taken a grim view of the situation and has directed the Registrar General to investigate the NIC (National Informatics Centre), Allahabad High Court and the concerned section and submit the report within 15 days. The hearing of the petition will take place on May 6. Justice Vivek Kumar Singh has given this order while hearing the petition of Udaybhan Yadav.
