Allahabad HC Rejects Petition Demand For Power Connection By Shop Inside Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple Complex
Prayagraj, March 9 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court (HC) has rejected the petition filed by the tenant demanding an electricity connection in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mathura complex. This order has been given by the division bench of Justice Soumitra Dayal Singh and Justice Surendra Singh on the petition of Meena Devi and two others.
Power Corporation's advocate Hareram Tripathi said that the petitioner has demanded connection against the rules without taking the consent of the institute. It was further added that the petitioner has illegally taken the shop situated in the temple premises to another person as a tenant and is not even paying the rent.
Not running the shop yourself and giving it to someone else and applying for an electricity connection illegally without the permission of the temple administration is against the rules and the connection cannot be given.
