Allahabad HC To Pronounce Verdict On Plea By Azam Khan And Family In Double Birth Certificate Case

Prayagraj, May 24 (TNA) In the case of the fake birth certificate of Azam Khan's son, Mohammad Abdullah Azam Khan, the Allahabad High Court will pronounce its decision today. The SP leader Azam Khan, his wife Dr. Tanzeen Fatima and son Abdullah Azam Khan have all filed a petition in Allahabad High Court, against their conviction by a lower court.

The hearing on the matter was completed on May 14. The Allahabad High Court had reserved the decision after the completion of the hearing. In the two dates of the birth case, the special court in Rampur has sentenced all three, Azam Khan, Dr Tanzeen Fatima and Abdullah Azam Khan have filed a criminal revision petition in the Allahabad High Court.

Rampur MP/MLA Court has sentenced all three to seven years imprisonment in the case of making two birth certificates of Abdullah Azam. All three have challenged the decision of Rampur Sessions Court rejecting their bail plea in Allahabad High Court.

A criminal revision petition has been filed to grant bail and cancel the sentence, all three were sentenced by the Rampur MP/MLA court in October 2023, the single bench of Justice Sanjay Kumar Singh will give the verdict.
