Allahabad High Court Grants Bail To Atala Violence Mastermind Javed Pump

Prayagraj, April 1 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court has accepted the bail of Javed Pump, the main accused involved in the incident of stone pelting, attack on police and security personnel, arson after Friday prayers on June 10, 2022 in Atala locality of Prayagraj, in the third case.

Earlier, Javed Pump has got bail in two more cases related to the same case. Justice Vivek Verma heard Javed's bail application. In the case against dozens of people, including Javed Pump, on June 10, 2022, in Khuldabad Kareli of Prayagraj and other police stations, including unlawful assembly, demonstration, murderous attack, setting fire, pelting stones at security personnel, using explosive substances and damaging public property In the matter, an FIR was registered under serious sections.

The police arrested Javed in the night of June 10 itself. Since then he is in jail. On Friday, on the bail application, Javed's advocate Syed Ahmed Faizan said that the whole matter is politically motivated and that his client was implicated because of political rivalry. In protest, the government advocate said that CCTV footage of the incident is available.

After the statement of Nupur Sharma, the accused carried out the incident of stone pelting and arson under a well thought out conspiracy. Several police and security personnel were injured in the incident and public property was badly damaged. The court has approved Javed's bail after hearing both the sides. However, Javed Mohammad will have to remain in jail for now as there is a case registered against him in NSA.
