Allahabad High Court Turns Down Bail Plea Of Lashkar Terrorist

Prayagraj, August 17 (TNA) The Allahabad High Court has rejected the bail application of suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Inaamul Haq. Considering the seriousness of the crime, the court has refused to release the suspected terrorist on bail.

This order has been given by Justice Pankaj Bhatia. In March 2022, suspected LeT terrorist Enamul Haq was arrested by UPATS from Deoband.

An FIR against him has been registered under Section 121A, 153A IPC, 66 IT Act. Haq is accused of promoting Jihadi literature and broadcasting videos through WhatsApp messages. Suspected terrorists from many countries including Afghanistan, Pakistan, Malaysia were involved in his WhatsApp group.

Enamul Haq, a resident of Giridih in Jharkhand, was arrested by the ATS on March 15 from Deoband's hostel in Saharanpur and sent to jail.
