As Agra Police Turns On Heat, Two Criminals Walk Into Police Stations To Surrender

Agra, July 22 (TNA) With the Agra police turning the heat on criminals and two dreaded miscreants getting killed in gun battles with the cops, the fear of the men-in-khakhi has sent jitters down the spine of the crime world here.

And so it was not without reason that on Thursday, two criminals - involved in two separate crimes surrendered before the police in separate police stations.

According to information available, while Prabhat Sharma, an accused in the Mannapuram gold heist gave himself up before the police in Kamlanagar police station, another criminal Bhola Thakur, wanted in the kidnapping go Dr Umakant Gupta, surrendered before the police at the Itmad-ud-Daula police station.

This is being seen as a big thumbs up for the Agra police which has been after criminals and has cracked many recent cases promptly.
