As PM Modi Kickstarts Jewar Airport Project, Mayawati Claims Credit Of Beginning Infrastructure Makeover In UP

Lucknow, Nov 26 (TNA) On Thursday, hours after prime minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Noida International Airport at Jewar, four-time UP chief minister Maywati took to Twitter to take credit of starting the infrastructural revolution in the most populous state of the country.

In a tweet, the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief said that it was her government that had enivisaged the eight-lane Ganga expressway between Noida and Ballia, aviation hub and Taj international airport in the Jewar area of Noida.

Soon, her nephew and BSP national coordinator Akash Anand also retweeted her aunt’s tweet and said that building of the Formula one track in greater Noida, the foudnation of the Jewar airport or keeping the GDP of the state above 7% in times of global recession, it was the Mayawati government that had set the ball rolling for all-round development and good governance in the state.
