Assam Police Hands Reward Prize Of Rs Two Lakh To SSP Meerut For Busting A Cattle Smuggling Gang
Lucknow, April 15 (TNA) An officer of the Assam Police on Friday handed over a reward price of Rs 2 lakh that they had declared on the heads of a cattle smuggler gang. The prize was handed over to the SSP of Meerut. meerut police had recently busted a gang of inter-state cow smugglers who ran an international syndicate till Bangladesh.
They carried a reward on their arrest from Assam Police and hence the reward being transferred to the UP Police. There has been a coordinated effort by the state police against all kinds of organised crime under the watch of the Yogi Adityanath government. The drive against crime and criminals has been scaled up further in the Yogi 2.0.
