Azam Khan Again Interrogated By ED Inside Sitapur Jail In Money Laundering Case

Sitapur, Sep 27 (TNA) Veteran Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and Rampur MP, Mohd Azam Khan was once again interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Sitapur jail on Monday. He was grilled by a team of ED sleuths for several hours in a money laundering case.

Rampur MP and SP leader Azam Khan is lodged in Sitapur jail in many cases since 27 February 2020. He was in the Vedanta hospital for over two months in between after he was infected with Corona and has been back since September 10.

On Monday, the ED team, which reached the jail on the orders of the High Court, interrogated Azam Khan in a closed room for about three hours. Last week also the former UP minister was interrogated him for four hours. After this, the team officials left the jail at four in the evening.
