Bank Of Baroda Employee In Bahraich Shot At By Bike-Borne Robbers

Bahraich, Oct 20 (TNA) An employee of the Bank Of Baroda was shot at in a foiled robbery in Bahraich district of Uttar Pradesh late on Wednesday, police said. The robbers tried to snatch a bag from Prabhat Ojha, but when they failed they shot him.

With the gun shots ringing in the air, villagers chased the robbers who fled the crime scene. The bank employee was rushed to a medical facility where he is udnergoing treatment. Police is also investigating the CC footage of the bank.

SHO Rajesh Kumar Singh said that the matter is being investigated. Additional Superintendent of Police, Nagar Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said that taking the incident seriously and all aspects are being investigated. Soon the robbers will be caught, he added.
