Benami Properties Of Atiq Ahmad Worth Rs 128 Crore To Be Attached In Prayagraj Today

Prayagraj, Nov 23 (TNA) In the biggest action so far against mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad, benami properties worth Rs 128 crores will be attached by the district administration on Wednesday. This property located in Havelia Jhunsi in Gangapar, Prayagraj was bought by the mafia in the name of himself and his relatives.

It was bought many years ago. When the help of the revenue team was taken, the names of all those in whose name this land was were revealed and it was found that all these belong to close associates and relatives of Atiq.

The Dhumanganj police prepared its report and sought permission from the DM to attach it. It was said that these properties were bought by Mafia Atiq with the money earned from the crime. The DM ordered the attachment of the properties on Tuesday.
