Bihar's Wanted Gangster Killed In Gun Battle With UP STF In Muzaffarnagar, Weapons Recovered
Muzaffarnagar, June 6 (TNA) Late Wednesday night, three bike-borne miscreants had an encounter with STF Noida, Bihar and Ratanpuri police in the jungle of village Inchoura in police station Ratanpuri area. In this, a criminal Nilesh Rai, carrying a reward of two lakhs from Bihar, was killed. Two of his associates managed to escape. Police have recovered a bike, two pistols, a revolver and cartridges from him.
The STF teams of Noida and Bihar were collecting information about criminals at the Kalyanpur police post of Ratanpuri police station when three youths coming on a bike from Budhana were intercepted by cops on duty after which they opened fire and started running towards Khatauli-Budhana road. When the police team chased them, their bike slipped into the forest of the village Inchaura and two miscreants fled while firing.
One miscreant was injured by a police bullet. Police took him to Budhana CHC where the doctors declared him dead. SP Rural, Aditya Bansal said that the deceased was identified as Bihar's notorious miscreant Nilesh Rai, resident of Baro Rampur police station Garhara Begusarai Bihar. The Bihar government had announced a reward of two lakhs on him. Cases under 16 serious sections like murder, robbery, dacoity and extortion are registered against Nilesh.
