Bloody Clash Over Land Dispute In Prayagraj Leaves Six Injured

Prayagraj, February 19 (TNA) A fierce clash between two sides over a land dispute in Hathigani village of Karma Chowki area of Ghurpur police station area of Yamunanagar left six, including women, injured. There has been a dispute regarding the construction on the disputed land for some time now.

According to the police, the dispute escalated due to the demolition of an under-construction wall. A woman, Rita Devi, who was injured in the fight, informed the police on 112 number. The police reached on receiving information, tried to intervene but to no avail as the furious crowd refused to withdraw.

Abhimanyu Patel, who was also injured in the fight, alleged that the residents of the village, Shobhalal Patel, Suresh Patel, Rajesh Patel, Ram Naresh Patel, Banshilal Patel were encroaching on his land. On stopping this, all the above people armed with sticks entered his house and started fighting.
