Bureaucracy In UP Rejigged Late Night, Mukul Singhal Sent To Revenue Board As Chairman

Lucknow, June 30 (TNA) The top level of the Uttar Pradesh bureaucracy was rejigged late on Wednesday night. According to information available, the powerful additional chief secretary (Appointments) Mukul Singhal has been eased out and shifted to Revenue Board as chairman. This post had been lying vacant for the past two months after the incumbent Deepak Trivedi died of Covid.

Senior IAS Devesh Chaturvedi has been given the additional charge of Appointments and Agriculture too. IAS Suresh Chandra has been handed the additional charge of planning, senior IAS Manoj Kumar has been given the additional charge of ACS Revenue along with Panchayati Raj that he holds.

Senior bureaucrat Deepak Kumar along with housing has been given the additional charge of principal secretary Basic Education.
