Case Filed Against BHU Doctor For Social Media Post Against Lord Parashuram

Varanasi, January 7 (TNA) A case has been filed against a BHU doctor, seeking immediate action for his social media post comparing Lord Parashuram to Godse. High Court advocate Saurabh Tiwari has filed the case against Dr Omshankar, Head of Cardiology Department of IMS BHU at Lanka police station.

It is alleged that Dr. Omshankar has made indecent remarks about Lord Parashuram on social media. A case has been registered against Omshankar at the Lanka police station on Thursday. This action has been taken on his post on Facebook wall comparing Lord Parashuram to Godse.

In this regard, Lanka Inspector Ved Prakash Rai said that on the basis of complaint, a case has been registered under various sections. Inspector Bharat Upadhyay has been entrusted with the investigation.
