Cavalcade of SP Candidate In Kunda Attacked, Car Smashed
Lucknow, February 27 (TNA) Cavalcade of the Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate from Kunda in Pratapgarh was attacked on Sunday as the fifth phase of polling took place on 61 seats in Uttar Pradesh. SP candidate Gulshan Yadav was attacked by unknown people in Babaganj.
The attack left the window panes of the vehicle smashed. His supporters allege that he has been attacked at the behest of Raja Bhaiya, a candidate in the elections.
Although his car was damaged in this attack, Yadav is safe. SP District President Chhavinath Yadav has alleged that fake votes are being cast at booth number 216, 217 of Babaganj Vidhan Sabha 245 of Pratapgarh.
He also alleged that this was opposed by SP supporters, after which Raja Bhaiya's supporters attacked him.
