CBI Court Summons Mohd Azam Khan In Jal Nigam Recruitment Scam
Lucknow, Nov 13 (TNA) A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court has summoned veteran Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Mohd Azam Khan in the Jal Nigam recruitment scam.
He has been ordered to appear in court on November 15 by a special judge. The former UP minister is lodged in Sitapur jail and has been asked to appear personally.
The government had got the matter investigated by the SIT for irregularities in recruitment to 1300 posts and in an attempt to benefit a particular person.
The court took cognizance of the evidences presented before it on July 15 and summoned all the accused on July 19. The Rampur Lok Sabha MP, Azam Khan has been summoned now.
