Chaturveda Vishwa Kalyan Yagya To Be Held At Sanskrit University In Varanasi
Varanasi, March 5 (TNA) A Chaturveda Vishwa Kalyan Mahayagya will be held for 3 hours every day for 365 days in Sanskrit University, of Varanasi. Vedas and Yagya tradition will soon come alive from the deserted Havan Kund of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University as for the first time in the history of 232 years, oblations will be offered in the Yagya Kund with the mantras of the four Vedas for 365 days.
The rituals of Yagya will be completed for three hours daily with the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the spirit of world welfare. Vice Chancellor Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma told that Havan will be performed daily under the Chaturved Swahakar Vishwakalyan Mahayagya at Sampoornanand Sanskrit University, the center of oriental learning. Havan purifies the environment as well as transmits positive energy. Performing Yagya with medicine containing incense sticks will purify the environment.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Sharma told that Chaturveda Swahaakar World Welfare Mahayagya will be performed as per the rituals by Acharyas and students in the Smart Yagyashala established under the Veda Department of the University. For this, architect RC Jain and industrialist RK Chaudhary have pledged to continuously supply all the materials related to Havan. Head of the Veda Department, Prof. Mahendra Pandey and Assistant Professor Dr. Vijay Kumar Sharma have been authorized for this task.
