Chief Secretary Pats Kanpur Commissioner, Team For The Visitor Gallery At Green Park Stadium

Kanpur, May 4 (TNA) Divisional Commissioner Kanpur, Rajshekhar got a pat from the visiting Uttar Pradesh chief secretary Durga Shankar Mishra for the work he initiated in making the ‘visitor gallery’ at the famous Green Park stadium. The gallery was created to show case the best moments of the cricket in Green Park stadium, to cherish the moments, also to promote cricket and other sports among children and youth.

Mishra visited the site and took a round of the whole set up and even saw the 10 minutes HD movie on the Green park and expressed his happiness at the project. He appreciated the Kanpur Smart city & the sports Department.

The gallery project took shape in two phases. The first phase project was worth ₹ 4 crore and included the display section, audio-visual room (Theatre), cricket cafe, two virtual pitches, a restaurant, souvenir shop. The work of the first phase is almost about to complete. The physical progress is 90% and is likely to be completed in the next one month, an official said.

In the second phase, one extra display section, selfie points, men and women additional toilets etc are to be completed in next 6 months.
