Collision Between Two Goods Trains Disrupts Lucknow-Varanasi Route, Loco Pilot Injured
Lucknow, February 16 (TNA) Two freight trains collided head-on in the early hours of Thursday near Sultanpur Junction in Uttar Pradesh. In this accident, the loco pilot of a goods train was injured, while 6 coaches were derailed. The Lucknow-Varanasi route has been disrupted due to the accident.
6 wagons were also derailed. According to the information being received, this accident happened due to the arrival of two goods trains on the same track near the southern cabin of Sultanpur Junction. Senior railway officials reached the spot and the work of clearing the track is going on.
