Combined NCC Annual Training Camp Held At Barauni

Prayagraj, May 14 (TNA) The first Combined Annual Training Camp of NCC Group Bhagalpur was conducted by 17 Bihar Bn NCC at Barauni. More than 500 Cadets (girl/boys) attended this 10 days camp which ran from 4 May to 13 May 2022. The camp was a first for many cadets from the border and rural areas.

The focus of the training in NCC is to develop qualities of character, discipline, leadership, spirit of adventure and to imbibe the ideas of selfless service among the cadets in order for them to become good citizens. The curriculum included Route march, drill, PT, Field craft, weapon training, first aid, fire safety, civil defence, health & , yoga and sports.

The last day witnessed the culmination of the camp with co-curricular activities viz. debate, dance and dramatics which reinforced the importance of youth building and character development, Group Captain and PRO Ministry of Defence, Prayagraj informed.
