Commoners, VVIP’s Meet And Greet Governor Anandiben Patel At Raj Bhawan On Holi
Lucknow, March 7 (TNA) The Raj Bhawan in the state capital opened its doors for commoners and VIPs alike on Tuesday as people dropped in to wish and greet Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel on Holi, the festival of colours.
Amongst the VVIPs that met the governor were Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Minister of Minority Welfare Waqf and Haj Department Danish Azad Ansari, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar and other public representatives, senior administrative and police officers. Vice-Chancellors and dignitaries of the University also met her and congratulated him.
Before this, all the officers, employees and children of Raj Bhavan along with Principal Secretary Kalpana Awasthi met the Governor and congratulated him on Holi.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated the employees working in Raj Bhavan by distributing sweets as gifts on the occasion of Holi and wished everyone a happy life.
The Governor said that Holi is a festival of living together and imbibing the colors of life within. Holika Dahan teaches us that leaving all the bad deeds, we should adopt good deeds. She appealed all to avoid harmful colors for the skin and use organic colors only.
