Prayagraj, March 24 (TNA) Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Kunwar Revati Raman Singh, who is irked with the party leadership, over not getting a Rajya Sabha ticket, may join hands with Congress. On Saturday, Congress general secretary and state in-charge Avinash Pandey and state president Ajay Rai met him at PGI Lucknow. Avinash Pandey has also shared its photo on X.

It is now considered certain that Ujjwal Raman Singh, son of Revati Raman Singh, one of the prominent leaders of SP and former MLA from Karchana, will contest the elections on a Congress ticket from the Allahabad seat. Senior Congress leaders have indirectly announced this by meeting Revati Raman Singh admitted in PGI on Saturday. However, it is also being said that Ujjwal has not taken any decision yet.
