Court Rejects Bail Plea Of Miscreants Arrested For Rioting In Prayagraj
Prayagraj, June 14 (TNA) The district court has rejected the bail application of the miscreants who were arrested in the case of ruckus in Atala after Friday prayers. The court said that since the charges framed are of serious nature and that there was no sufficient ground for bail.
Additional CJM Arun Kumar rejected the bail application after hearing the arguments of the advocates of the accused and prosecuting officer Avinash Singh. The bail application was filed on behalf of the accused Taufeeq, Mohammad Yusuf, Mohammad Qadir, Shahnawaz, Mohammad Rizwan and Saif.
The prosecuting officer told the court that this is an incident which has been done by inciting each other by forming a group in a public place. As a result of this, the police officers and all the policemen suffered serious injuries. There is no evidence against the accused as argued by the accused.
