Cyber Crime Police Stations To Be Opened In Remaining 57 UP Districts Soon, Home Department Issues Notification

Lucknow, December 15 (TNA) To curb the increasing meance of cyber crime in Uttar Pradesh, cyber crime stations will soon be opened in 57 districts of the state. The Home Department has issued notification of cyber crime police stations in 57 districts. Yogi government has already established cyber crime stations in Mirzapur, Gonda, Azamgarh, Saharanpur, Aligarh, Kanpur Nagar, Banda, Agra, Moradabad, Varanasi, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Basti, Gorakhpur and Bareilly.

In the month of August, CM Yogi had directed to establish cyber crime stations in all the districts. It was said that cyber crime stations should be established in 57 districts within two months. Besides, instructions were also given to establish cyber help desk in every police station. Cyber crime stations were established in Lucknow and Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Cyber crime headquarters has also been established in the DGP headquarters. Now all the remaining 57 districts will also have cyber crime police stations. Cyber crime happening in every district will now be reported and investigated by the police station of that district.
