Department Of Mass Communication At AMU Gets New Chairperson

Aligarh, March 22 (TNA) Prof Afrina Rizvi, Department of Mass Communication, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed Chairman of the department for a period of three years. Prof Rizvi has been engaged in teaching and research for over 20 years and has meaningfully contributed to the teaching of science journalism.

She has published a book, “Science for the Masses, Dynamics of Popular Communication” and contributed than 50 research papers and articles in the magazines and journals of repute. Rizvi has earlier worked as coordinator and convener of several projects and programmes and also served as the chairman of the department of mass communication earlier in 2015.
