Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Elected Chairman Of The UP Olympic Association

Lucknow, March 6 (TNA) Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has been elected unopposed as chairman in the Uttar Pradesh Olympic Association elections. Viraj Sagar Das, President of UP Badminton Academy, has been elected as the President of the Olympic Association for the second consecutive term, while Anandeshwar Pandey has been made the General Secretary for the eighth time.

Additional Chief Secretary Sports Dr. Navneet Sehgal has been elected Senior Vice-President of the association. It is after 19 years that Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak will be the chairman of the UP Olympic Association, before that in 2004 Kalraj Mishra was made the chairman. The post of chairman was lying vacant since 2004.
