Direct IndiGo Flights From Ahmedabad To Ayodhya Commence
Lucknow, January 11 (TNA) Direct air service started for Ayodhya from the Gujarat capital of Ahmedabad on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath credited the efforts of prime minister Narendra Modi behind this move. After the flights start, devotees from Gujarat will have a huge facility to travel to the Ram temple and nearby religious places in Ayodhya.
Soon, there would be 84 IndiGo flights in and out of the Chaudhary Charan Singh International airport at Amausi in Lucknow. Flights to Ayodhya from Varanasi, Agra and Kanpur will soon start, the chief minister said on the occasion. Better facilities for road and air routes will be available from Ayodhya, the chief minister said.
On the day of consecreation at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, more than 100 chartered planes are expected to land at the Maharshi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. The chief minister also thanked the air carrier IndiGo for initiating this flight.
