Drunk Man Kills Five Of His Family In UP’s Sitapur Then Pulls Trigger On Himself

Sitapur, May 11 (TNA) In a shocking incident, a mentally disturbed man wiped out his entire family and then pulled the trigger on himself late on Friday night. He was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident. According to the information available, the assailant Anurag Singh first killed his aged mother, then his wife, and later snuffed out the lives of four of his children.

The tragedy took place in the Mahmoodabad area at Mathura Palhapur. The deceased have been identified as Savitri Devi (62), Priyanka Singh (40), Ashvi (12), Arna (8) and Advik (4). The four-year-old was rushed to the trauma centre but could not be saved and he died during treatment. Anurag Singh (45) committed suicide after committing the incident.

When the incident was reported in the morning, there was chaos in the village. CO Dinesh Shukla, Regional MLA Asha Maurya along with heavy police force are present at the spot.
