Drunkard Makes Hoax Call Of A Bomb Outside Famous Hanumangarhi Temple In Ayodhya, Arrested

Ayodhya, July 24 (TNA) A man was arrested late on Saturday in Ayodhya for a hoax call he made of a bomb being planted outside the Cantonment gate of the famous Hanuman Garhi temple in the temple town of Ayodhya.

The day being of Guru Purnima, there were people around and the police immediately swung into action after the phone call.

The entire area was barricaded and cordoned off for public. Temple was evacuated immediately and thoroughly searched by BDDS team. No bomb was found at the place it was told to be.

The phone call was traced and the man apprehended. It was found that he was under influence of alcohol and had made a crank call.

He admitted to the police of making a false call after which he was arrested and legal proceedings are underway, Shailesh Kumar Pandey, SSP of Ayodhya informed. Meanwhile tight security contineus around temples in the holy town.
