During Redevelopment Work, Trains Will Shift From Junction To Prayagraj Chheoki And Subedarganj

Prayagraj, January 10 (TNA) The redevelopment work of Prayagraj Junction is to be done in two phases. In the first phase, the Civil Lines side will be developed by the Railways. New station building etc. is to be constructed here. Apart from this, two more new platforms will be constructed on the vacant space between platform number five and seven.

The preparations for the redevelopment of Prayagraj Junction have been accelerated by the Railway Administration. Before the development of the station, preparations are being made by the Railways to reduce the load of trains at the junction. For this, some platforms may be closed here in the coming days. Along with this, all the trains starting from the junction will be shifted to Subedarganj and Prayagraj Chhiv.

Apart from this, two more new platforms will be constructed on the vacant space between platform number five and seven. Railway is preparing to redevelop the Civil Lines side by August-September 2024 before Kumbh.
