He will not be able to campaign till 8 am on February 23 at 8 am on February 24. The Election Commission has taken this action against the BJP candidate in the hate speech case.

In fact, in a speech during a street meeting in Tiloi area, BJP candidate Mayankeshwar Sharan Singh compared SP candidate Mohammad Naeem to Babar.

Singh had further said, about 492 years ago, a similar goonda-rogue came to India, who demolished the temple where Lord Ram was born in Ayodhya district and made it a mosque. In these 492 years, we fought about 67 battles, in which lakhs of Hindus were martyred, but we could not get the temple back. After the battle with the court, now a temple is being built there.
