The state government received revenue of Rs 11196.49 crore in the main items of non-tax revenue in the month of April, which was 85 percent of the monthly target and Rs 9898.44 crore more than the corresponding month last year.
In the same sequence, revenue of Rs 11164.11 crore was received in June of the financial year 2021-22, while Rs 9034.83 crore was received in June of the year 2020-21. This trend of increase in revenue is continuing in the state, and it is because of the decisions taken by the Chief Minister.
Suresh Khanna claims that Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country, where partial corona curfew has been implemented while making all efforts to curb the corona epidemic. Business activities are going on here under the Corona Protocol. Whereas in many other states there was complete lockdown. In the states with lockdown, almost all industries remained closed and economic activities have also come to a standstill. Whereas business activities are going on in Uttar Pradesh as before. About eight and a half lakh industries are registered in Uttar Pradesh.
About 80 lakh people work in these industries. Similarly, about 80 lakh industries are unregistered in the state and two crore people work in them. In the partial corona curfew imposed in the state, they were allowed to do their work. The work of lakhs of daily wage earners, street shopkeepers, daily laborers and workers working in factories continued.
Due to the government's decision to save life and livelihood, all of them did not have to face the crisis of livelihood due to the exemption given to them to continue their work during the corona curfew, he claimed. Due to this decision of the government, following the Corona protocol, industries and businesses also ran in the state and the employees also did not face any loss. The state government also got the benefit of this partial corona curfew. The figures released for September of revenue receipts prove this.
