It was one of its one-of-a-kind exhibition that showcased the work done in the studios by students in the quest for the fundamental understanding of Architecture, Design and Construction.

Architecture is an amalgamation of arts, creativity and technology thus promotes out of the box thinking. Creative ideas of fresh brains have been nurtured throughout the semester by a large team of mentors to lay the foundation of architecture. The event was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. K. K. Asthana (Retd. Chief architect, UPRNN, Member COA) and renowned artist Jai Krishna Agarwal along with principal and dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, AKTU, Dr. Vandana Sehgal.

Faculty of Architecture and Planning strives to achieve a balance between the aspirational and the practical in the Architecture profession. The pedagogy is based on design thinking, where lateral thinking techniques are employed to layer the mind of a student and, gradually, the student’s mind starts grappling with any given situation/ problem with solution-oriented strategies. This exhibition showcases some of the abstract and practical assignments that are part of the first-semester coursework. As an academic institution our contribution to the nation on this Republic Day is building the educational foundation of students in architecture and to celebrate the same we have curated an exhibition to display the works of first-year students.
