Famous Bhajan Singer ‘Rasika’ Aka Pagal Baba Of Vrindavan Passes Away At 55

Vrindavan, Dec 5 (TNA) Eminent bhajan singer Baba Rasika ‘Pagal’ passed away late on Saturday night at the age of 55. He was suffering from kidney and diabetes-related problems. His demise triggered a wave of mourning in his followers. He endeared himself to thousands with his style of singing the hymns of Lord Banke Bihari and Swami Haridas.

Born on January 1, 1967, Baba Rasika Pagal was a resident of Vrindavan. Baba, the third of three brothers and two sisters, used to live in his own fun and drive a rickshaw. In the evening, when there was Shayan Aarti in the Banke Bihari temple, he used to worship Bihari ji by singing his verses.

Baba took initiation in the Swami Haridasiya tradition. While singing in the temple, an official of the music company T-Series heard the singing and requested to sing for his company. After this Baba's singing came in front of the world.
