Father-Daughter Killed In Pratapgarh As Roadways Bus Rams Into Car, Six Others Injured

Pratapgarh, December 1 (TNA) Two persons were killed and eight were seriously injured in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh late on Thursday when a car collided with a roadways bus at Sarai Anadev in Jethwara at around 9 pm on the Kunda-Pratapgarh road. The man driving the car and his daughter died in the mishap.

The roadways bus driver fled from the scene of the accident and efforts are on to trace him. Imran (42) was driving the car, when the car reached the turn in front of Mainathi Kunwar Chandravati Degree College near Sarai Anadev of Jethwara, the roadways bus coming from Kanpur hit his car hard.

The injured have been admitted to the Raja Pratap Bahadur Hospital, where Imran and his daughter Aisha were declared dead. DM Sanjeev Ranjan and SP Satpal Antil reached the hospital, saw the injured and immediately referred them to Rani Nehru Hospital Prayagraj.
