Fearing Fog And Poor Visibility, Northern Railways Cancel 25 Trains From December 1
Lucknow, November 15 (TNA) With the onset of winter, fog is just a few weeks away and keeping that in mind, the Northern Railways has cancelled 25 trains from December 1. Senior DCM Rekha Verma informed the media that owing to poor visibility and the annual feature of fog, trains get late and are often delayed inordinately. To ensure that the passengers are not put through the ordeal, the NR has cancelled 25 trains.
These include 14235 Varanasi-Bareilly Express which will be cancelled between December 1 and February 29, 14236 Bareilly Varanasi Express from December 2 to March 1, 14674 Shaheed Express from December 5 to February 27, 15057 Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar terminal will remain cancelled between December 7 to February 29.
Other trains that have been cancelled due to the possibility of fog include: 04651 Jainagar-Amritsar Express, 12537/12538 Bapudham Superfast Express, Tatanagar-Amritsar Jalianwallah Bagh Express and Yog Nagri Rishikesh-Prayagraj Sangam Express among others.
