FIR Against Akhilesh-Jayant In Noida For Violating Model Code Of Conduct

Noida, February 4 (TNA) An FIR has been registered against Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav at Dadri police station in Greater Noida for violating the code of conduct. Along with Akhilesh, RLD president Jayant Chaudhary has also been named in the FIR.

On Thursday, Akhilesh and Jayant had reached here with their Rath Yatra. During this there was a huge crowd of workers. It is being said that firecrackers were also burst on a large scale during this period.

According to officials, Akhilesh-Jayant's convoy reached TNT at around 10 pm. During this, the Covid rules were violated due to the crowd. Night curfew was also in force here. Along with this, allegation of violation of section 144 has also been made. Along with Akhilesh-Jayant, the candidate from here, Rakumar Rai has been named and about three to four hundred unknown people have been included in the FIR.
