Fire Guts Hut In Kushinagar, Woman And Her Five Children Burnt Alive
Kushinagar, June 15 (TNA) In a tragic incident on Thursday, six persons, including a woman and her five children died as fire gutted their temporary hutment, police said. The reason of the fire which completely burnt down the residential hut in Urdha village of Ramkola police station area of Kushinagar is yet to be ascertained.
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem. According to information, the fire broke out around midnight. District Magistrate Ramesh Ranjan, Superintendent of Police Dhawal Jaiswal and ASP Ritesh Kumar Singh also visited the spot of the incident.
The deceased have been identified as Sangeeta (38), her children Ankit (10), Laxmina (9), Rita (3), Geeta (2) and one-year-old Babu.
