Firozabad Police SOG Bust Inter-State Drug Ring, Six Arrested

Firozabad, Oct 1 (TNA) In a big success, the Firozabad police on Friday bust a gang of inter-state drug smugglers and arrested six gang members. The operation was accomplished by the Special Operation Group (SOG) of the district police, an official informed TNA.

Fifty kilograms of opium was also recovered from their person. The smugglers were bringing this drug consignment from Odisha and were intercepted in the Naseerpur area, SOG in-charge, KK Tiwari informed.

SP (rural) Akhilesh Narayan Singh informed that the arrested smugglers were being interrogated to find out more details.
