First Death Anniversary Of Mulayam Singh Yadav Today, SP To Hold Events Across UP
Lucknow, Oct 10 (TNA) The first death anniversary of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav will be observed by the Samajwadi Party (SP) across the state on Tuesday. The three-time chief minister of India’s most populous and politically significant state, had passed away after a long battle with kidney-related issued and diabetes at the Medanta hospital on October 10, 2022.
All members of the Yadav clan, including Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav, son of Mulayam; Akhilesh Yadav, brother Shivpal Yadav, daughter-in-law and Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav will pay floral tributes at his ‘samadhi’ in Saifai, the native village of Mulayam Singh Yadav. Many events are being held across the state to mark the day.
It is likely that some top leaders of the I.N.D.I.A, of which the Samajwadi Party is a part, turn up at Saifai to pay tributes to the late socialist leader, who other than being the chief minister of UP also held the important portfolio of defence in the union government.
