Five Children Missing For Seven Months Recovered By Aligarh Police, 16 Arrested

Aligarh, July 26 (TNA) The city police on Monday recovered five children, who had gone missing in the past few months. 16 persons have also been arrested, all of whom were middle-men in selling and purchase of these children, an official told TNA.

The raid was conducted at the instructions of SSP Aligarh, Kalanidhi Naithani. These kids had gone missing from various parts of the city in the past seven months. The operation 'Khushi' was executed the whole night and the etam has been awarded Rs 25,000 for the recovery of the children.

An official said they were interrogating the arrested gang members to ascertain if there were more children in their clutches.
