Five Killed In An Early Morning Road Mishap In Shravasti

Shravasti, Sep 4 (TNA) In a heart-wrenching accident, five persons have been killed in a major road mishap in Shravasti district of Uttar Pradesh in the wee hours of Saturday. Three people have been seriously injured. The accident happened due to a tremendous collision between a tractor-trolley and tempo.

After the accident, the tempo overturned and people died as the truck climbed on it. The mishap took place in the Buddhist circuit under Ikauna police station area. This accident happened late last night. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and immediately rescued the eight victims trapped inside the tempo.

They were rushed to a nearby medical facility but hospital but the doctors declared 5 people dead, while 3 are undergoing treatment. The bodies have been sent by the police for postmortem. The injured are expected to survive as no body has life-threatening injuries, an official informed.
