Former BJP MLA From Phaphamau, Vikramjeet Maurya Passes Away

Prayagraj, Dec 16 (TNA) Vikramajeet Maurya, former BJP MLA from Phaphamau assembly, passed away last night after suffering a mssive cardiac arrest. In the 2017 assembly elections, Vikramajit Maurya had contested on a BJP ticket and had defeated Ansar Ahmed of the Samajwadi Party (SP).

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has condoled the death of the former minister. Keshav Prasad Maurya, who is on a foreign tour, has paid tribute to him by issuing a condolence message. “I pray to God to give him place udner his feet and give strength to the bereaved family members to bear this sorrow”.

He also said that in the passing away of Vikramajit Maurya the BJP has suffered a huge loss that would be hard to fill.
