Four Killed, Many Trapped Under Debris In Bulandshahr Home As Under-Construction Roof Caves In

Bulandshahr, July 19 (TNA) At least four persons have been killed and some more are feared trapped in the debris as an under-construction roof of a home collpased late Tuesday night, police said. The linter of a house collapsed late night in Mawai village under Narsena police station area. Relief and rescue work is going on at the spot.

According to the information, the linter of the house collapsed late night in Mawai village under Narsena police station area of Bulandshahr district. It is being said that linter was put on the second floor of the house on Tuesday itself. 13 members of the family were sleeping on the ground floor. There was chaos in the village after the late night accident. The villagers immediately started efforts to rescue the people buried under the debris.

As soon as the information was received, several teams of other officers including the CO reached the spot and got involved in relief and rescue work. At present, the rescue and relief work is going on.
